Balloon Font was designed by Max R. Kaufmann in 1939 and published under the banner of American Type Founders. This typeface is designed as a competitor to the cartoon typeface that was designed by Howard Allen Trafton in 1936.
This typeface doesn’t contain any lowercase letters and this typeface was available in Light, Bold, and Extra Bold weights and also works well with the jaapokki font.Categories
This typeface was used for Madeline’s books, TV series, and films. The main use of this typeface can be seen in the logo of Nickelodeon which is drawn with white letters and an orange splat background.
The lightweights that are available in this typeface are identical to the Kaufmann Script and variane script font and you can use this as an alternative to these typefaces.
